Jal
Jilani Festival at the Shree Swaminarayan Mandir
Every year after ten days of Ganesh puja at the Shree Swaminarayan Mandirs, the murti of Ganeshji is festively paraded on Jal Jilani festival at the mandir grounds or on the streets of the city. A maha-puja is conducted wherein Thakorji and Ganeshji are worshiped and taken on a boat ride. The ritual culminates in ceremoniously placing Ganeshji in the waters of a river, lake or ocean . |

the Jal Jilani festival in Los Angeles, USA (9 September, 2000) and
