Satsang in East Africa is like a mirror. It reflects all the moral and spiritual brilliance of the Movement in its fullfledged form. From a handful of Satsangis in 1955 to the present force of over 2,000, the Satsang has flourished round its 4 temples, in Nairobi, Mombasa, Dar-es-salam and Mwanza; and centres in Nakuru, Eldoret, Kisumu and other smaller cities.
Founded on the peaceful teachigs of Indian Culture as revealed by Lord Swaminarayan, the Satsang strives to promote better understanding among people of all ages and communities and better living through various programmes.
It features the perfect synthesis of ancient Hindu wisdom and modern sophistication to give answers of our problems and crises of emotions, family relations, societal strains and racial tensions.
The most prominent features of the Satsang are our weekly assemblies and monthly festivals. These encourage a strong feeling of love, brotherhood and respect for all mankind.
To truly understand us and our motives you must meet our Satsangis at a Weekly Satsang assembly. You’ll feel a warmth of welcome.
