Caring for Youths

Lord Swaminarayan's mission has been perpetuated by a succession of God-realised Sadhus, the incarnations of Akshar. After Shastriji Maharaj, Yogiji Maharaj spread the philosophy of Akshar and Purushottam. With his ever-smiling face and saintly character, he endeared these spiritual precepts to thousands of spiritual aspirants, above all to youths. He founded schools and hostels for them and opened youth centers in India and abroad to promote moral values. He initiated many graduate youths into the saffron order. Some studied Sanskrit while some learnt music. Yogiji Maharaj's simplicity and pure saintliness earned him reverence from one and all.
