Complex
The Government of Maharashtra
has sanctioned 135 acres of land for the Sanstha at Vashi in New Mumbai.
At 10.40 a.m., the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony was performed by Swamishri
for the Garden of the Akshardham Complex and saplings of coconut trees
were planted. At 11.00 a.m., the deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra,
Shri Gopinath Munde, was welcomed and he unveiled the plaque for the
Akshardham Garden Complex. The Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri
Narayan Rane, had also arrived for the occasion. He lauded the social
and religious activities of the Sanstha and having already seen the
Akshardham Complex in Gandhinagar and the Swaminarayan Mandir in London,
was convinced that the new Akshardham Complex at Vashi would be the
pride of Maharashtra and the world.
