3rd National Livestock Show
1 February 2000, New Delhi Government of India confers Nagnath the title of "Bharat Kesari" |
From 27 January to 1 February 2000, cattle reared at the BAPS mandir in Sarangpur participated in the '3rd National Livestock Show' at New Delhi. A total of 9 first prizes were won by the Sanstha's 4 cattle. To cap it all, the bull, Nagnath, was judged "Best Animal of the Show" out of the 745 animals from 14 different states of India. As a result of Nagnath's performance, he was conferred the highest title of "Bharat Kesari" by the Government of India. |
