During the de-addiction campaign,
boys and girls contacted people of various professions and social
brackets. Regardless of caste or creed they zealously endeavored
to inspire hundreds of thousands to refrain from smoking and drinking.
They visited sea port workers, hawkers, shopkeepers, farmers,
diamond workers, convicts and people at places like bus stops,
railway stations, dental clinic, hospitals and ghettoes.
Their tremendous effort liberated thousands from the fatal noose
of smoking and tobacco chewing.
This photo gallery presentation reflects their monumental effort,
patience and tolerance.
