A TIME photo-journalist visited the Shree Swaminarayan Mandir in Neasden,
London, during the first week of November 2000 and captured
snapshots of Pramukh Swami Maharaj blessing kids (pg 42 of the issue).
The female devotees looked on with reverence and respect (pg 9).
Out of the eight photographs that
represent Britain in the article, Swamishri's photograph has been
printed to show the immigrant vibrancy in the country.
The photograph of female devotees is one of the six chosen to be printed
alongside the editorial.
