From August 2 to 4, the UK
Kishore-Kishori Annual National Shibir was held at Keele
Conference Park. The shibir's theme was 'Satsang Asmita
- For the sake of Akshar Purushottam.'
The shibir commenced with a showing of the video blessings
of Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
Then, through audio-usual presentations, dramas, classroom
sessions, and speeches, the delegates learnt of the tremendous
efforts and difficulties faced by Shastriji Maharaj in establishing
BAPS; the powerful and dynamic personality of Shastriji
Maharaj; the sadhus and devotees of Shastriji Maharaj who
dedicated their lives to the BAPS cause and the growth of
BAPS. Having learnt of the history of BAPS, a detailed presentation
was made on the personality, life, work and achievements
of Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
On 4 August, the day of Rakshabandhan, sanctified rakhdis
specially sent by Swamishri, were given to all 450 delegates.
The shibir served to generate pride for the BAPS and the
desire to serve our guru among all delegates.
