On 17 February 2011, around 2300 students and more than 100 professors from 35 colleges throughout Surat attended an inspiring seminar held at the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Surat, entitled ‘From Zero to Hero’.
A group of creative members of the BAPS Kishore Mandal and BAPS Swaminarayan Chhatralaya in Surat were the backbone for this special seminar. The main purpose of the seminar was to bring out the inner qualities of the youngsters and motivate them to achieve their academic and personal goals.
The seminar, from 7.00 to 8.30 p.m., featured a speech on the topic of ‘Effort’ by Prabhucharan Swami and specially prepared multimedia presentations.
The messages imparted in the seminar were appreciated by all the students and professors, and they departed with renewed resolve and enthusiasm to endeavor for a brighter future for all.
