On 25 and 26 December 2003, a 2-day satsang shibir was held at the BAPS mandir in Nairobi. About 450 devotees, young and old, from many centers throughout East Africa participated in the shibir, which was based on the theme, 'Regularity in Ahanik'.

Through speeches by sadhus, audio-visual presentations, a drama, quizzes and practical sessions, the need to regularly and sincerely perform the rituals of daily worship was highlighted.

All participants left with a renewed resolve to practice these daily worship rituals of personal puja, arti, thal, chestha, satsang reading, ghar sabha, etc.

A excellent program of devotional songs was presented by the youths of the Dar-es-Salam mandal.
