On Thursday 6 April 2006, over 400 devotees attended the birthday celebrations of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and Bhagwan Ram at the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir. The evening celebration assembly featured story presentations by balaks and speeches and bhajans by yuvaks and elder devotees. The celebrations included the Janmotsav arti at the time of Bhagwan Swaminarayan's birth.
