In various BAPS centers throughout New Zealand, devotees celebrated the birthday of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and Ram Navmi. Each of the celebration assemblies featured speeches devotional songs and audio-visual presentations highlighting the glorious life and work Bhagwan Swaminarayan
Celebrations were held at the following BAPS centers:

Auckland: On 18 April over 150 devotees and 24 April 2005 over 700 devotees atted the celebrations at the BAPS Mandir. The youths performed an inspiring drama depicting the arduous pilgrimage of Nilkanth Varni and the life-transformations He inspired. An exhibition showcasing the life and work of Bhagwan Swaminarayan was also displayed.

Wellington: On 23 April 2005 about 160 devotees attended the celebration at a community hall near the airport.

Christchurch: On 23 April 2005 over 150 devotees attended the celebration at the Indian Association hall.

Hamilton: On 29 April 2005 over 60 devotees attended the celebration at a local school.
