With the background stage decoration of Nilkanth Varni's Vicharan through dense and dangerous forests, and also Dada Khachar's Darbar, the birthday of Bhagwan Swaminarayan was celebrated at the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Sydney on Sunday 17 April 2005.
The yuvaks sang devotional songs to commemorate this auspicious occasion, while the balaks and kishores presented short skits and speeches, based on some teachings of Bhagwan Swaminarayan.
The celebration was attended by over 700 devotees and well-wishers, which included the Federal MP for the area, Julie Owens, and the Lord Mayoress of Parramatta, Julia Finn.
