Over 500 devotees attended the auspicious celebration of Swaminarayan Jayanti and Ramnavmi on 9 April 2006 at Sydney Mandir. The celebration assembly was based on the theme of 'Parivartan' and featured skits, a drama about Joban Pagi's life-transformation, kirtans, speeches, a traditional dance and a video presentation depicting how  Bhagwan Swaminarayan and HDH Pramukh Swami Maharaj have changed thousands of people's lives by turning them away from addictions, bad habits and vices to lead humble, content and moral lives.

Present on this auspicious occasion was Mr N K Mohanakumaran, Consul and Head of Chancery at the Indian Consulate Office.
