A team of four BAPS sadhus – Prabhucharan Swami, Anandmuni Swami, Jnanpurush Swami and Adarshmuni Swami – undertook a satsang tour of the Asia- Pacific region from 12 June to 23 September 2008.
The sadhus visited more than 18 centres to inspire young and old alike in the following eight countries: Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Indonesia.
The sadhus conducted shibirs for children, teenagers, youths and elders, inspiring hundreds to strengthen spirituality in their lives.
Parayans, ranging from 3 to 9 days, were held in Singapore, Sydney, Perth, Wellington, Auckland, Christchurch, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane on various Hindu scriptures: Shrimad Bhagvat, Katha Upanishad, Satsangijivan and Bhagvad Gita.
The sadhus also visited Japan on this occasion and conducted the first ever satsang assemblies in Tokyo and Kofu.
Throughout the Satsang Tour the sadhus conducted satsang sabhas and house visits, inspiring and guiding many people towards an addiction-free, family-oriented and spiritual life.
Devotees and wellwishers throughtout the Asia-Pacific region were truly enriched by the visit of the sadhus. |
