Around 280 devotees participated in Regional Satsang Shibir held at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Sydney on Saturday 17 April 2010. The theme of the shibir was based on one of Gunatitanand Swami’s talks: “Chaar Vaat Jivanu Jivan”. Sadhus from India elaborated on the important aspects of agna, upasna, surahdbhav and ekantikma priti. Group discussions and inspiring video presentations helped to impart the messages in a very effective way.
The one-day Satsang Shibir helped to clarify many profound concepts of the Akshar-Purushottam philosophy. Many devotees undertook new vows: daily puja with tilak-chandlo, ghar sabha, satsang reading and regular attendance in weekly sabha. A Samuh Puja session was also held to explain the salient features of daily puja that are sometimes take for granted. The shibir inspired everyone towards a higher spirituality and a sense of fulfilment in attaining Satsang.
