A Satsang Shibir was organised in Brisbane, Australia on Saturday 22 May 2010 in the Nathan campus of Griffith University. More than 200 people participated in the shibir which was based on the theme “Char Vat Jivanu Jivan”. Sadhus from India spoke on the four main pillars of satsang – agna, upasana, suhradbhav and ekantikma priti. Inspiring video presentations and group discussions shed light on many related topics such as ghar sabha and bal sanskar.
The shibir was an enlightening experience for all because it gave an in-depth understanding of many important satsang concepts. Participants took vows such as satsang reading and daily puja to improve their personal satsang. A demonstration was also organized to motivate new aspirants who took up daily puja.
Various satsang sabhas were arranged in Toowoomba, Gatton, Gold Coast and Brisbane during the week-long visit by BAPS sadhus. Many were inspired to follow a pure and pious life free of addictions.
