Shri
Swaminarayan Mandir, has been used in the latest marketing campaign
- 'Visit England', by the British Tourist Authority to help promote
tourism to England.
The Mandir's photo has been used in an innovative marketing pamphlet
which show people that if they would like to visit different countries
they should visit different regions in Britain, which will provide an
experience similar to that gained by an actual visit to the country.
The mandir has been selected to represent London. In the past, Parliament
House, Buckingham Palace and London Tower Bridge, etc. were used as
attractions of London. And now, 'Shri Swaminarayan Mandir' has replaced
them!
The colorful pamphlet titled 'Enjoy England' was inserted into the 'Radio
Times Magazine' Christmas Issue. During Christmas 3.3 million copies
of the magazine are sold.
"Visit England" is a campaign being run by British Tourist
Authority which is funded by British Government through the Ministry
of Culture, Media and Sport. |
