The evening assembly was a Kirtan Bhakti programme performed
by the sadhus. Many of devotees participated in singing devotional
kirtans. Swamishri entered the assembly greeted by a huge applause
from the audience.
After
performing the arti, Swamishri was welcomed with a beautiful
garland of orange roses by Ghanshyamcharan Swami. To the delight

Swami also announced the 100 years celebrations of the founding
of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha to be celebrated in 2007. It will
be a grand Festival to mark the finale of ‘BAPS Centenary
Celebrations’. Pramukh Swami Maharaj inspired all the
devotees to offer their seva for the Celebrations.
On
this occasion, for the first ever time, the special ‘Jay’
was echoed by the thousands of devotees gathered in the presence
of Swamishri; ‘BAPS Shatabdi Mahotsav Ni Jay’.
Swamishri
then gave his blessings in which he mentioned the importance
of bhajan bhakti in life and explained that true happiness in
the worship of God.
