In the morning,
Pramukh Swami Maharaj performed the murti pratishtha of the
marble images for the mandir in Southend-on-Sea. The ceremony
took place at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, London. Ghanshyamcharan
Swami performed the mahapuja vidhi. Swamishri completed the
murti pratishtha rituals and offered the arti. A beautiful annakut
was prepared by the devotees of Southend-on-Sea, Wickford and
Colchester.
In
his blessings, Swamishri talked of how one should regularly
go to the Mandir and also that by improving one’s life,
attain happiness and build a mandir in one’s heart for
God to reside in. Some 180 devotees from the Mandal participated
in the ceremonies.
