Annual
Kishore-Kishori Summer Shibir 2005 |
A glimpse of Akshardham became an experience for 570 kishores and kishoris during the annual BAPS Kishore-Kishori Summer Shibir at Warwick Conference Park, held during 24-26 August 2005. The campus was transformed into an ‘airport’ where a flight to Akshardham was prepared for those arriving for the programme. Equipped with specially designed passports and identification badges, the authenticity of a journey to Akshardham provided a unique piece to this year’s event. With the emphasis on daily rituals and the core theme of attaining Akshardham, the presentations, dramas, sketches and classroom sessions all pointed to the importance of agna and upasana. For many kishores and kishoris, the experience at Warwick provided the inspiration to change their lives and make small improvements that would ultimately lead them to Akshardham for eternity. |
