Yogi Jayanti – the 104th birth anniversary of Brahmaswarup Yogiji Maharaj – was celebrated on Saturday 27 May 2006 at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Neasden, London in the presence of Pujya Kothari Swami from Mumbai.

The celebrations took place in the evening with bhajans and speeches extolling the virtues and greatness of Yogiji Maharaj. Devotees had travelled from all across the UK to welcome Kothari Swami and take part in the Yogi Jayanti Festival. Various dignitaries including Lord Dholakia and Mr. K D Rao were also present.

Sadhus talked of the saintliness of Yogiji Maharaj. The bhajans and solo flute performance by the sadhus were well received by the audience.

Kothari Swami also presented the trophies for the Kishore 5-a-side Saturday League Tournament.
