Volunteers Appreciation Day was held in the presence of Pramukh Swami Maharaj on Friday 3 November 2006. The evening sabha began with Viveksagar Swami talking on the qualities of an ideal volunteer. After a video presentation and a short report on the dedication of the volunteers for this year’s Diwali and Annakut celebrations, various garlands were offered to Swamishri on behalf of all the BAPS volunteers in the UK and across Europe. Swamishri spoke on the sincere dedication, enthusiasm and commitment of the volunteers throughout the year and especially during the recent Annakut festival. Swamishri was very pleased with the care and concern catering for all the visitors’ needs during the festival. He gave his heartiest blessings to all the volunteers.
