The annual National Kishori Mandal Netball Tournament was held on Saturday 3 October 2009. This year’s event was hosted in London, where eight teams from around the country came together for an exciting day of sport.

Kishoris cheered from the sidelines as several thrilling matches were played out on the court. Everyone had the chance to get to know each other and a spirit of unity was fostered.

Each team had the opportunity to play three rounds, before Harrow, Leicester A, North and South progressed to the semi-finals. The final saw South triumph against Harrow with Leicester A taking third place. Birmingham was awarded team of the tournament for their positive attitude throughout, while Karuna Patel won the Top Shooter prize.

The day was a great success with a spirit of friendly competitiveness and camaraderie from all mandals.
