On Sunday 13 September 2009, over 24 centres around the UK and Europe held their Satsang Shikshan Pariksha exams for this year, from where over 620 candidates were successful.

To appreciate the efforts of the high-achievers, an awards ceremony was held at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, London, on Sunday 4 October 2009 in the presence of Sadguru P. Doctor Swami. A total of 40 prizes were presented to those who scored the highest marks in the Bal 1 to Pragna 3 exams. Of the 24 centres, Paris (Sahajanand Group) and Ireland (Ghanshyam Group) received the Best Centre Awards, the floating trophy being awarded to Ireland.

P. Doctor Swami later encouraged all those present in the assembly to participate in the Satsang exams next year and thereby increase their scriptural knowledge.
