Diwali Annakut Samaiyo

The day November 17th, ’01, marked a commencement of an auspicious new year. Thakorji’s darshans were opened to the Haribhaktos at 6: 30 AM and the first Aarti was performed by our beloved pujari. Around the clock, approximately 1500 darshanathis (including visitors and haribhaktos) visited the mandir and showered their love for God, either with gifts or food for Annakut. The Stage was stacked with surprising 500 items prepared by the Lady Mandal of Boston. All day long, aarties were being performed every hour. About 1500+ calendars were distributed to the visitors. A tremendous effort was pulled into the decorations and visual aids. Kishores and Vadil Mandal, hands-in-hands, put A’s and B’s together and created a magnificent atmosphere, which resembled divinity and peace. Utsav-murti of Maharaj was adorned with dazzling Orange and Green color. It seized attention of every single person in the mandir. Moreover, the various dishes and items organized in rows in front of Him depicted ‘The King of Kings at a grand Feast.’ The staggering figure of 1000+ attendees in the Samaiyo made it looked like a devoted evening of bhajans, discourses, lectures and presentations. The Vadil Mandal and the outstanding Kishore Mandal carried out aforementioned tasks.
