Annakut Festival

On this joyous occasion, visited the temple throughout the day
to offer prayers and seek blessing from Lord Swaminarayan and
H.D.H. Pramukh Swami Maharaj. Annakut, a grand feast of magnificent
and colorful array of more than 700 vegetarian dishes and 88
drinks decoratively arranged by the devotees, was devoutly offered
to the Lord. Annakut Aartis were performed in the morning, noon,
afternoon, and in the evening by Saints. The Balika & Kishori
Mandal arranged a superbly decorative exhibition on the importance
of “Diwali Parva” in our life.
During the evening assembly, devotees participated in the Annakut
festival celebrated in the presence of P. Amrutcharit Swami
and P. Bhaktiswarup Swami. Pujya Amrutcharit Swami addressed
the assembly and inspired "Jivan Nu Dhyey" – goals of our life,
followed by a presentation on "Daan No Mahima" (Importance od
donation) delivered by a devotee. A kirtan-bhaki was performed
by the Kishore and Yuvak Mandals, followed by a mini kirtan
aradhana near the end of the celebration. A brief presentation
regarding the medical/health care camp arranged at the temple
on Dec 3, 2001 given by a devotee. Several distinguished guests
also attended the celebration and felt blessed to be a part
of this ecstatic celebration. Finally, all devotees were blessed
by H.D.H. Pramukh Swami Maharaj via video for the occasion.
