 Choda Poojan is an auspicious occasion to sanctify our account books, software, floppy disks or CDs and offer our devotion to Lakshmi - the Goddess of wealth - in the divine presence of God and Guru. Especially, for business people, it provides a yearly opportunity to offer individual poojan and seek blessings for better performance of their businesses year after year.

* ANNAKUT *

Annakut is a huge decorative arrangement of  numerous food items (mostly in triangular shape - resembling mount Govardhan) being offered to God. It is a remembrance as a reflection of God’s tremendous power and the benefit of seeking His refuge. On this day Lord Krishna lifted mount Govardhan on His little finger to rescue villagers from heavy rain poured by Indradev.

MAHANT SWAMI'S VISIT

Sadguru Pujya Mahant Swami is a senior saint of the BAPS Shree Swaminarayan Sanstha and an ideal disciple of HDH Pramukh Swami Maharaj. Pujya Mahant Swami and the Sant Mandal will enlighten us with special spiritual discourses and Kirtan Bhakti during their stay in the Bay Area.
