The San Jose B.A.P.S. Mandir celebrated the 111th birthday of Pujya Yogiji Maharaj with great pomp and enthusiasm. A series of kirtans performed by the Yuvak Mandal ran parallel to a slide-show of pictures of Pujya Yogiji Maharaj. A speech outlined His selfless affection for the youth and His visions which were set far off into the future. This was followed by a kirtan performed by the Bal Mandal depicting Yogi Bapa's motto, "Bhagwaan Bhaji Levaa." The keynote speech depicted how Yogi Bapa's life and work exemplified "Guru Bhakti," "Vachan Maa Vishvaas," "Gurumaa Divyabhaav," "Nirmaanipanu," and "Shudh Vartan." Shlokas performed by the Shishu Mandal and a video presentation showing the ever-presence of Maharaj in our guru parampara capped off the evening program.
