The Edison BAPS to commemorate the graduation of balaks into the Kishore Mandal, the Northeast region organized a grand graduation ceremony. The theme for Bal Graduation 2003 was "The Future is Bright."

The atmosphere at the Edison BAPS mandir was electric with themed decorations creating a festive mood. The balaks enjoyed games, sports and activities prior to the ceremony. Everyone cheered as the graduates walked down the center aisle in pairs to the traditional commencement march “Pomp and Circumstance.” As the graduates took their seats they noticed pamphlets on each of their chairs. The pamphlet included: A List of all the Graduates from the Northeast Region, a special message about becoming Adarsh, and some of the memorable events from the past year. The program was kicked off with a Swagat dance and included speeches given by balaks and Pujya santos. The program concluded with a certificate presented to each graduate by Pujya Haridarshan Swami and Pujya Bhaktiswaroop Swami. A special gift which consisted of a picture frame with the theme and a picture of Pramukh Swami and Harikrishna Maharaj was given to those graduates headed for the Kishore Mandal.
