Jal Jhalani Celebration

6 September 2003, Saturday, Houston, TX:

Devotees from all over Houston and beyond gathered at the Houston BAPS Temple to celebrate the joyous and auspicious occasion of Jaljhilni Ekadashi. The evening program included devotional kirtans and speeches. One in particular used the analogy of our faith in a pilot to guide an airplane to its right destination to explain how we should submit the reins of our lives to God and his true Saint. Towards the end, the audience was treated to a video presentation of saints observing this special day by taking an idol of Harikrishna Maharaj through a pool of water.
