Yogiji Maharaj often remarked,
"Seva (selfless service) is my life", and with this thought
BAPS Karyakars (volunteers) of the west region celebrated
"Karyakar Din" in the divine presence of Swamishri.
In the morning assembly, senior
saints delivered discourses on the importance of perfoming
seva to complement spiritual progress. In the evening assembly,
saints individually honored those devotees who exemplified
the true meaning of seva. Volunteers from departments including
kitchen, transportation, and sabha sanchalan were recognized
for their dedication and sacrifice.
In his blessings, Swamishri
emphasized the value of performing service with one's mind,
body, and soul, as well as performing this service without
ego. He also stated, "Volunteers should perfom seva in addition
to engaging in spiritual talks. One cannot benefit from performing
seva alone."
