A Guru often sacrifices his
entire body for his devotees and also serves as a gateway
towards God. In return, to offer their devotion and thanks
to their beloved Guruhari Pramukh Swami Maharaj, devotees
of the West Region celebrated "Gurubhakti Din".
In the evening assembly, Pujya
Viveksagar Swami explained that the true way of pleasing God
and the Guru is by offering them love and devotion. The assembly
continued with Swamishri's blessings, in which he stressed
that God has given so much to the world, such as oxygen, sunlight,
air, rain, etc. Just as we give thanks to any person that
does a small favor for us, we should continuously thank God
through our bhakti.
In an effort to offer thanks
to God in such a manner, devotees honored Shri Harikrishna
Maharaj with a "Pushpa Tula". In this utsav, devotees symbolically
displayed their love to God by weighing Shri Harikrishna Maharaj
against flower petals. All devotees had the opportunity to
individually have sameep darshan of Swamishri and Shri Harikrishna
Maharaj.
