Indian culture and history are among the oldest in the world, and have successfully been passed through the generations and across oceans. To celebrate this rich culture and its priceless values, a grand cultural program, “Sanskruti”, was held at the Continental Airlines Arena in New Jersey.

BAPS children and youths put on an extraordinary performance through dances, dramas, kirtans, and speeches, all acclaiming the greatness and sophistication of India’s ideals and traditions. The audience was amazed by special effects, such as the lasers, fireworks, and multimedia presentations that supplemented the program.

Saints also impressed the audience with their talents in traditional Indian sangeet as well as their wisdom and eloquence in speech. Senior saints and Pramukh Swami Maharaj in his blessings focused on the promotion and preservation of Indian culture and values.

The Governor of New Jersey, James McGreevey, along with several other politicians joined the devotees to witness the magnificent program, made divine by the presence of Swamishri.
