After Swamishri's morning puja, the Kalash Vidhi for the Houston Mandir was held, during which Swamishri performed the pujan of the final piece of the Mandir. The kalash, made of copper and gold leaf, is the highest point of the mandir, symbolizing the spiritual height devotees strive to achieve.

During the evening assembly, kishores felicitated Swamishri with an energetic dance, "Swaminarayan Charan Kamal Ma." The District Attorney of Fort Bend County, John Healey was present on this occasion, and after addressing the assembly, he greeted Swamishri.

In his blessings to the assembly, Swamishri explained that just as a king looks after his people, just as parents look after their children, God looks after His devotees. No matter what adversity or difficulty we may come across, if we have taken refuge in God, whatever He does is for our betterment. At the conclusion of the assembly, Swamishri gave Sameep Darshan to all devotees present.
