Although Guru Purnima was officially
celebrated a few days prior to this evening, kishores and
kishoris did not want to miss out on a chance to thank their
Guruhari Pramukh Swami Maharaj for all he has done, showering
love upon his devotees and instilling Satsang values in everyone.
In the Guru Purnima evening
program, saints recounted personal incidents of Swamishri's
love expressed towards them. The entire program was organized
around the kirtan, "Sant Vina Re Saachi Kon Kahe", which describes
the Guru as being the only person capable of offering true
bliss.
On this day, Swamishri was asked
to explain how one can please one's Guru, and he explained
in his blessings that one must keep the company of the Guru
with no expectations, and readily accept any seva given by
him.
Finally, Swamishri sprayed colored
water on his beloved Shri Harikrishna Maharaj. Thereafter,
kishores joyously danced to kirtans as they were sprayed with
the sanctified water.
