Though most elementary school
and middle school children like to spend their summer vacations
glued to the television or computer screen, hundreds of balaks
and balikas from all over North America, Australia, and New
Zealand arrived in Orlando to spend the next few days doing
something different.
They came to see their Guruhari
Pramukh Swami Maharaj, and learn about the efforts of Bhagwan
Swaminarayan and His successors to create a harmonious and
peaceful society.
In the evening Swagat assembly,
Swamishri entered the convention hall amidst great love and
enthusiasm expressed by all balaks and balikas. Some balaks
danced on stage while others energetically waved streamers
in the air as Swamishri made his way towards the stage.
In his blessings, Swamishri
explained to all the children in great deal what their typical
day should be like, remembering God from the minute they wake
up until they fall asleep.
