To begin the inauguration of
the second traditional Hindu Mandir in America, Swamishri
performed the Prasad Pravesh, or the first official entry
into the mandir, and kalash vidhi after completing his morning
puja. The kalash is the pinnacle of the mandir, and it symbolizes
the spiritual height one can attain as they become more attached
to God and His Saint.
People unfortunately become
attached to many different things: personal belongings, places,
relatives, friends, etc. But scriptures such as the Vachnamrut
explain to us that if people become too engrossed in the world,
their souls will still continue to pass through the cycle
of births and deaths. But, if one completely attaches oneself
to God and His Saint one will attain ultimate liberation.
The Midwest Satsang mandal took a deeper look into how to
help devotees and aspirants cultivate attachment only for
God and His Saint throughout the day.
Pujya Ghanshyamcharan Swami
explained Vachnamrut, Gadhada II - 54, and described the methods
to become closer to the present Satpurush, Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
Pujya Viveksagar Swami detailed how one can become closer to
God by performing yagnas according to the Bhagvad Gita. Before
Swamishri's blessings, the vadil mandal performed a drama
on Dada Khachar's high level of sacrifice for God and His
bhaktas. Finally, Swamishri praised Dada Khachar's faith in
and sacrifice for Bhagwan Swaminarayan. He said that according
to Vachnamrut Loya 3, what can a devotee who has great faith
not do for God and His Saint? He also stated that must realize
God's greatness and do everything in one's capability to please
Him.
Finally, during Swamishri's
blessings, he stated the importance of keeping faith and explained
how to maintain peace of mind. In the end, he conveyed that
the ultimate goal of life is to become Aksharrup and worship
Purushottam. After the conclusion of his blessings, Swamishri
granted sameep darshan to all devotees.
