Swamishri concluded his stay
in Chicago by installing the murti of Shri Nilkanth Varni
in the lower level of the Mandir. This golden murti rests
atop a golden lotus, and allows countless devotees to offer
an "abhishek", or bathe the murti with water. Swamishri performed
the first abhishek himself with water from the sacred rivers
of India, after which senior saints and devotees did the same.
Now, after a mere three months,
Swamishri has taken Satsang to a new level in North America.
His tireless efforts have enhanced the personal Satsang of
thousands, and Satsang mandals as a whole in every major center
he visited.
Swamishri's efforts also inspired
children, teens, and youths to attend a national convention
in Orlando, Florida where they learned about Indian culture
and the ways of spiritualism.
He broke his own records by
inaugurating two shikarbadh mandirs, what many claim as wonders
of the world, in Houston and Chicago within a span of just
16 days. He performed the bhoomi pujan for Akshardham, a beautiful
monument to be built with unique exhibitions illustrating
India's religious history, in the state of New Jersey. In
addition, he performed the Shilanyas Vidhi for shikarbadh
mandirs to be built in Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Toronto.
Though his accomplishments are endless, he remains humble
in front of God and His devotees. He has revitalized Satsang
and inspired higher ideals in existing and new aspirants.
In his final blessings to the
devotees, he said that if one is unable to visit pilgrimage
places in India, one should not worry because the Chicago
Mandir is a pilgrimage place for aspirants. He also explained
that one who possesses a true buddhi recognizes God and His
Saint. Most importantly, he elaborated on how devotees receive
many in return if they give only a little to God.
As devotees bid farewell to
Swamishri, they knew that Swamishri's divine presence would
always remain with them though he continues his vicharan to
the United Kingdom, Africa, and finally back to India.
