On November 24, 2010, BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha hosted a two-day Regional Yuva Shibir at the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Edison, NJ. The shibir, based on the theme of “Spiritual Quotient – Vidyanam Adhyatma-vidya”, was attended by over 300 yuvaks and yuvatis from in and around the Northeast region and focused on how the participants could strengthen their core values and spiritual roots by developing their spiritual quotient from the teachings of Hinduism.

Held in the presence of Sadguru Sant Pujya Doctor Swami, the attendees were invigorated through interactive workshops and motivational lectures geared toward the development of their spirituality and personal satsang.  Pujya Doctor Swami’s lectures delivered new perspectives on character building, redefining success, practical spirituality, maintaining pride in Hinduism as well as other relevant topics.  In addition, many other santos were on hand, including Pujya Apurvamuni Swami, to give inspirational speeches and presentations focused on the shibir's theme.
