Thirty-six Kishores graduating from High Schools around the nation aggregated in San Jose, CA to attend the very first Kishore National Summer Camp 2011 themed Dradh Priti. The camp focused on helping Kishores advance in their spiritual and personal lives through various workshops, activities, and goshtis. Kishores learned what dradh priti is in the Shastras track, how they can apply dradh priti to their life in the Siddhant track, where to direct their dradh priti in the Satpurush track and what to do with their dradh priti in the Sanstha track. Though the main focus was to provide kishores with a platform to become better satsangis, another aspect of the National Summer Camp was to teach them essential skills specific for karyakars and kishores in college. Clubs such as Journalism, A Capella, Debate, and Theater as well as outings to San Francisco, hiking in Muir woods, and intramural sports competitions allowed kishores to get a taste of the all-around experience they should hope to further in their college years.

Overall, through direct interaction with revered Swamis and experienced karyakars from across North America, Kishores developed a better understanding and gained a greater sense of asmita (pride) for BAPS, which will help guide them in carrying forward with their satsang in college and beyond.
