Installation of Akshar-Purushottam Idols in the Vadhvan Temple:

From Vadtal Swamishri went to Vaso. The Vadhvan temple was now ready. He instructed all the disciples devoted to the worship of Akshar-Purushottam to go to Vadhvan on the occasion of the installation of the idols in the temple. Kunjvihariprasad and the sadhus had promised Swamishri that they would install the idols of Akshar-Purushottam in the central shrine of the temple. However, Swamishri had told all the devotees: " If there is any opposition install the idols in the first shrine instead and let us know by telegram."
The sadhus in Ahmedabad had carried on considerable hostile propaganda. Some of the devotees, therefore, began to press Kunjvihariprasad not to install the idols of Akshar-Purushottam. On the other hand the disciples devoted to Akshar-Purushottam doctrine reminded him of the condition put by Swamishri, and how he had stood by him and helped him in spite of vehement opposition. Finally, as a compromise between the two sides, it was decided to install the idols of Akshar and Purushottam in the first shrine and the installation took place accordingly. The first toll of the true upasana (worship) of Akshar-Purushottam was struck in Vadhvan.
In the joy of the celebration all lost sight of sending a telegram to Swamishri. When a belated telegram was sent, Swamishri had already left Vaso for Vadtal. Purushottambhai who received the telegram went to Vadtal, had the gates of the temple opened and handed over the telegram to Swamishri. Swamishri was glad to read it. He went to Gordhanbhai Kothari with the telegram and informed him of the installation ceremony in Vadhvan. During his whole life, the Kothari had with his authority, obstructed the revelation of this true upasana (worship). Hence on hearing the news, the Kothari became deeply contemplative.
"Whatever Shriji does must be right," said the Kothari spontaneously.
"This deed has been performed by Shriji Himself." said Swamishri.
The Kothari indignantly asked Swamishri to go away. But after a while when his anger subsided, he called for Swamishri and obtained the full details. The Kothari was extremely pleased with Swamishri's ardour for the propagation of the true upasana. He was convinced that it was this sadhu who could illuminate the movement.
But the sadhus were angered. "Even the Kothari does not say anything to Yagnapurushdas. If Yagnapurushdas can install the idols in Vadhvan while sitting here, what can he not do in future? He will tilt the entire Satsang to his side and we will be left helpless. Nobody will care to consult us." Thus, they all assembled and began to plan how to vanquish Swamishri and to get rid of him.
Swamishri was, however, moving about calmly and fearlessly, and preaching the upasana of Akshar-Purushottam. He came to Bochasan and obtained the idols of Rama-Lakshman, consecrated by Shriji Maharaj, from the Ramji temple. He installed these idols in the old temple on a wooden platform consecrated by Shriji Maharaj and predicted: "A big, pinnacled temple shall be built in Bochasan and idols of the supreme Akshar-Purshottam Maharaj shall be installed in the central shrine of that temple. At that time these idols of Rama-Lakshman shall also be installed there."
"When will that happen, Swamishriji?" asked the devotees. Swamishri replied: "Within two or three years you will see it." Everyone thought that something unusual was in the offing, otherwise, how could one talk of building a temple when trouble from the sadhus in Vadtal was imminent? Thereafter, Swamishri went to Veersad and thence to Chansad for medical treatment. He gave several discourses in Chansad.
