Ingredients:
- 1½ tea cups gau no atto (whole
wheat flour)
- 1 teaspoon of oil
- ghee for applying
Method:
- mix wheat flour, oil and water
and make a soft dough
- knead well
- divide into 8 equal sized balls
- roll out into flat circles of 125
mm (5") diameter
- roast on a hot griddle (tawa)
- first lightly roast both sides then
place one side directly on the fire until roti inflates into a
ball
- remove from fire and apply ghee
