• 8-7-1999 : Thursday , Nadiad.
  Lord Harikrishna Maharaj was honored by 4,000 devotees in the evening assembly.
• 14-7-1999 : Wednesday , Bochasan. Rath Yatra Festival. Swamishri celebrated the Rath Yatra (Chariot) festival by installing the murti of Harikrishna Maharaj on a small mobile chariot. It is a celebration symbolising the victory of God over
  evil elements.

6-7-1999: Tuesday (Nij Jeth Vad 7, 2055), Vidyanagar

• While Swamishri was having breakfast, the students residing at the hostel described the various DAYS (Rose Day, Chocolate Day, ...) celebrated in colleges. After keenly listening to them.
  Swamishri suggested, "Have a tilak-chandlo day."
  A youth enquired, "Do all the students have to do it?"
  Swamishri, "Well, don’t all the students observe the Days? Instead of observing such Days what is wrong with tilak-chandlo day!"
  The students appreciated Swamishri’s insight and revelation that the DAYS celebrated in colleges have no cultural, moral or spiritual significance. It would be beneficial and inspiring to have meaningful DAYS.

8-7-1999: Thursday (Nij Jeth Vad 10, 2055), Nadiad

• In the evening, an enthusiastic and dynamic youth came to seek Swamishri’s blessings. He wanted Swamishri to bless him with success for a local election he was to contest.
  During the conversation Swamishri came to know of his addiction to cigarettes.
  Focussing on his bad habit
  Swamishri advised, "First you must resolve to give up your addiction. Not even cigarettes! It is like knowingly and willfully inviting death. Is it not written on the cigarette pack! If you want to be a good social or political worker then you have to give this up. It is wrong and harmful morally, socially and medically. If you want to serve society then you have to make your life morally pure. When your life is pure then only will you accomplish things. Otherwise, in spite of your efforts, people will not have faith and trust in you."
  Swamishri inspired the youth on the true path of service. The youth left pledging to give up cigarettes.

• Where there is unity there is wealth. Where there is discord in the house, there is no progress.
• One who has conquered his mind has conquered the whole world. The mind can be conquered through devotion to God.
• God is always awake and ready to redeem us, to do our good and to protect us, because we have surrendered ourselves to Him.
