Next, Swamishri came
to Yagnapurush Smruti Mandir. From the very first of the five
pradakshinas Swamishri walks around the Mandir, the song of 'Aje
Yagnapurushne dwar
' had picked up beat.
Swamishri's joy was clearly evident from the extended smile
glowing on his face. On the first round, Swamishri simply responded
to the singing by raising his hands and clapping.
But in the following round, Ghanshyamcharan Swami, mahant of Surat
Mandir, had taken a pair of kartals in each hand. The volume of
the drums and singing doubled as Swamishri did the same. With
eyes gleaming, Swamishri approached Ghanshyam Swami. And then
both broke into what can only best be described as clapping and
waving their kartals to the beat. |

By now the tempo had
heightened exceptionally. Everyone was singing and clapping in
unison. ''Aje Yagnapurushne dwar
' was probably being heard
throughout the village. It seemed the volume couldn't possibly
get any louder.
But that was proven wrong in the very next round. Not only did
Swamishri take on the kartals again, but this time he stopped
to meet Ghanshyam Swami face to face - stroke for stroke. Pumping
the kartals frenziedly, Swamishri had every sadhu, parshad, sadhak
and devotee clamoring over each other to catch a glimpse. Everyone
roared into thunderous joy and applause. Willingly responding
to the crowd's cheers and cries for more, Swamishri danced on
for a good many steps down the pradakshina itself. The mood was
truly ecstatic.
But the best was yet to come. After giving back the kartals, Swamishri
finished the remaining pradakshinas, and left the Smruti Mandir
to come to his puja
