Nagaryatra
A grand procession, prior
to the murti-pratishtha ceremony, was carried out on the evening
of 5th October from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm in the heart of Jaipur city.
More than 2,000 sadhus and devotees participated in the colorful
procession with devotion and joy. The deities were paraded in seven
beautifully decorated floats heralded by elephants, horses and an
escort of youths on motorbikes. The local folks and tourists eagerly
welcomed and enjoyed the pageant of devotion and joy.
