On 8 December 2002, Pramukh Swami Maharaj's 82nd birthday celebration was celebrated at the Swaminarayan Mandir in Perth, Australia. The celebration assembly was held from 5.30p.m. to 8.00p.m. The celebration included speeches on Swamishri's saintly virtues like compassion, equanimity and devotion for Thakorji by the devotees. The celebration assembly was endowed with a flair of devotion and joy through bhajans sung by youths. Invited guests from the Australian community were impressed by the celebration. More than 225 devotees had attended the festival celebration. |
