Based at the BAPS international headquarters in Amdavad, the Satsang Pravrutti Madhyasth Karyalay annually holds regional shibirs to train and update the male and female volunteers who coordinate satsang activities in Gujarat and other states.

This year, 3,796 men and 2,664 women from 157 regions in Gujarat participated in the 13 regional shibirs.

This year's theme was 'Sol ani Satsang' - 100% Satsang. On 2-4-1965, on the occasion of Shastriji Maharaj's Birth Centenary Celebration, Yogiji Maharaj defined the term 'Sol ani Satsang' in a unique way. 'Sol' means sixteen. A rupee (=100 paise) is comprised of 16 annas. Therefore, based on this, Yogiji Maharaj said that:

  • 4 ani satsang (=25%) is satsang at physical level - observance of niyams.
  • 8 ani satsang (=50%) is that in which the indriyas are controlled.
  • 12 ani satsang (=75%) is that in which the antahkaran is controlled.
  • 16 ani satsang (=100%) is the consolidation of satsang in the jiva.

Based on this theme, the karyakars were guided on how to execute their duties to their maximum capacity and were also inspired to strengthen their own personal practice and observance of satsang principles.
