The devotees of Sydney celebrated the festivals of Holi and the birthday of Brahmaswarup Bhagatji Maharaj on sunday 16 March 2003 at the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir. The murti of Bhagwan Swaminarayan was gracefully adorned in a headdress (safo) of beautiful rainbow colors. In tune with the celebrations, the murtis of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, Aksharbrahma Gunatitanand Swami and Shri Krishna held water sprays in their hands.

The celebration assembly featured speeches and devotional songs highlighting the significance of the Holi festival and the divine glory of Brahmaswarup Bhagatji Maharaj. The youths also performed a skit depicting the problems caused by peer pressure on students and how they can be tackled.
