In the build-up to the Bal Mandal Golden Jubilee, a team of 94 children, teenagers and youths presented two performances of Krishna Lila ballet and a drama entitled 'Khoj' and other cultural presentations at the Camoes Theatre in Lisbon, Portugal, on 2 and 3 August 2003.

Preceding each program, the audience visited the Towards Better Living exhibition in which children explained the message of pure and noble living promoted by Bhagwan Swaminarayan and Pramukh Swami Maharaj.

Throughout the 2 days, over 1300 people saw the programs and were inspired by the message.
